Royal Talen[t]s

- 2012

In October 2012, Dries Peeten's artwork 'Stadsallure' won the Public Prize of the international painting competition Royal Talen[t]s, organised by KUNSTWERK[t] vzw and Royal Talens. After winning the first prize in the preliminary round in Lommel, the work was exhibited together with the 153 finalists in the city centre of Lier. The theme for this third edition was found in the correspondence between Vincent Van Gogh and his sister: 'One can speak poetry by arranging colours well'. The competition was all about colour.
